Assessing your Instructor’s performance. How do the best get better?

It’s really important to your What Car? 5 Star Instructor to know how you value their contribution to your improving competence and test preparation. We want to receive your feedback after between 5 - 10 hours training and again as you near your practical test.

• Remember the Charter for Learners – Has your instructor followed this?
  • 1. Meet and greet your parent/guardian within the first 5 lessons unless otherwise requested.
  • 2. Offer all Learners guidance on study for the theory and HP test including products available.
  • 3. After the initial assessment structure a practical training course most appropriate for each Learner.
  • 4. Always conduct a post lesson debrief including completion of your training progress.
  • 5. Recommend the most suitable time to apply for your theory and practical tests
  • 6. Always give lessons one to one unless specifically requested otherwise by the Learner.
  • 7. Endeavour to be on time for each lesson and honour a full 60 minutes lesson time.
  • 8. Always provide a well maintained dual controlled car that is less than 3 years old.
  • 9. Maintain high personal and professional standards without discrimination.
  • 10. Respond efficiently to any queries or concerns that the Learner may have raised
