We train our learners to pass the test efficiently and to prepare them for the real life driving situations that they’ll encounter.
You’ll not only pass your test, you’ll be a safe, competent and confident driver.
- Initial Assessment
Your What Car? 5 Star Instructor will conduct an assessment of your driving competence during the first two hour session. They will use the What Car? “Indicator” assessment tool to determine your current skills and plan a course of training for you to reach test standard. You will be given this at the end of the first two hours.
- Demonstrable Progress
Your What Car? 5 Star Instructor will personalise and tailor your training to your needs. This will be tracked on your “Headway” document so that you can see your progress through the syllabus of competencies and be fully aware of your success. Your What Car? 5 Star Instructor will provide you with all the necessary information on “Show me Tell me” questions.
- Theory Test Support
Theory and hazard perception training materials are available for purchase from our recommended suppliers. Your What Car? 5 Star Instructor is familiar with these products and will ensure that the knowledge and skills you gain in theoretical study are applied in the practical training.
- Test Back Up
Your What Car? 5 Star Driving Instructor will provide you with help, guidance and support in the booking of your tests and will confirm their declaration of your test readiness. Your What Car? 5 Star Instructor will also accompany you on your practical driving test unless you request otherwise.
- Pass Plus
Your What Car? 5 Star Driving Instructor will introduce you to Pass Plus and remind you of the valuable additional contribution this training can give to your driving competence and confidence, notwithstanding the financial advantages from lower insurance premiums.
